Recently, in the Tesla Open Class with the theme of “Faith Drives the Future, Comprehensive Security Experience”, Tesla revealed that Model 3 domestic delivery time may be up to 2018.
It is reported that although there is still some time to enter China from Model 3, Tesla has already begun to prepare for its delivery in China. At present, Tesla has established more than 30 urban experience centers, more than 550 super-charged piles, and more than 2,000 destination charging piles in China, covering 170 cities across the country. On the existing basis, Tesla plans to accelerate the expansion of China's Tesla charging network. By the end of 2017, Tesla will have more than 800 super-charged piles in China.
It is worth mentioning that in the test drive test session in the open class, participants also departed from Asia's largest super charging station, Tesla Beijing Huamao Super Charging Station, passing through urban roads, highways, and different road conditions. For the test drive, Tesla offered the Model S P100D and the Model X P100D. The Model X model also received NHTSA's full five-star safety certification in June this year, and is the first five-star certified SUV from NHTSA.
During the test drive, Tesla can achieve L3 level automatic assisted driving as long as the Autopilot system is turned on. The test driver only needs to put his hand on the steering wheel, and the vehicle can realize the auxiliary steering in the lane line and automatically adjust the speed of the vehicle.
